Congrats wapiti. Enjoy the success and the hunt for the next one!
in reply to: A Lesson Well Learned #54901And come deer season it’ll be the turkeys that’ll be in front of you 😆
in reply to: When you can not find it you make it… #54895Beautiful job Troy. It is an unusually narrow riser alright, must make for a light bow. Do you find the stippled grip gives a better hold?
in reply to: A Lesson Well Learned #51739Nice photos Rory. Looks like it’s really greening up around your parts. Those limb covers should work a treat.
in reply to: A little shooting On an April Afternoon! #49633Thanks for sharing those picks rip. All the talk of bama bows and a look around their site is getting me twitching…
in reply to: A Lesson Well Learned #48547Really enjoyed reading that Rory. I’d love to see some photos of the area you described, sounds beautiful.
in reply to: Guerdon#2 is blooded… #45156How’s about a close up of that new bow – the handle woods look gorgeous!

in reply to: Where Would You Live? #30778donthomas wrote: I’ve spent my adult life in Montana and Alaska, not to mention traveling all over the world. Both states are great places. I am frequently asked why I moved back to MT from AK, and why I recently came within a hair’s breadth of moving back again. As for providing Top Ten lifetime outdoor experiences, it’s hard to beat AK. But the bird hunting is better in MT and between mid-Ocotber and early May it’s darned hard to do much outdoors up north. That’s half the year. This could turn into a long post, but you get the idea. Don
Don, I’m enjoying reading about your adventures in both states, and beyond – picked up Have Bow, Will Travel and can thoroughly recommend it.
in reply to: How Was Your Winter? #30776We’ve just had a week of summer over here. Blue skies, 20C (about 70 in your money), 2nd grass cut, t-shirt wearing weather! Only thing is now we’re back to our usual march weather – overcast with a nice northwesterly and a balmy 8C (that’s about 45F) 🙁 Crazy weather indeed…
in reply to: Critter Stories #28493Would give a whole new meaning to a “hoe-down” Steve 😆
in reply to: Thanks, Dave! #27474Thanks Dave and best wishes in all your other ventures. I’m sure we’ll still see you around here and be able to pick you brains 😀
in reply to: Where Would You Live? #27471Seems like Colorado and Alaska are coming out tops…
