Great article, thanks for posting it David.
in reply to: Bowstring Questions #62161😳 yeah listen to Dave, it was a long week at work 😳
in reply to: First Archery Deer #58639Congrats David, that’s broken your duck now so hope there’ll be plenty more 😀
in reply to: A Hunters Heart #58634Dave is next on my list of authors alright and I can’t wait for next year’s video too…
in reply to: The Election Buck #58627Here’s hoping that buck is a sign of good things to come! And I too love the jacket, has a cool 70’s retro vibe to it as well as being excellent woods wear 8)
in reply to: Bowstring Questions #58610As you’ve alluded to Carey, your brace height increases with string stretch. This will happen with dacron, which I and many others here use, but will even off after a break in period – which depends on how much you shoot. I just set the brace on a new string, do some shooting and reset it with a few twists and might have to do this once more but that’s usually about it. I recommend using a bow stringer.
in reply to: My new Java Man Duo Flex #58603Ok Roger I’m turning green here – seeing that beautiful bow and knowing you have another 5 from the same gifted bowyer, that’s just not fair 😛
in reply to: Maryland Bear Hunt Video #54392Nice work Chris. I love the variable focus shots that pick out different details and colours as the focus changes.
in reply to: Scrappy one down #54375Nice hunt Stumpy and thanks for sharing it with us 😀
in reply to: In love again for the first time #54350As I got deeper and deeper into trad shooting I switched from alu shafts to wood. Just feels more natural. I’ll never forget walking into the room the day after getting a dozen fir arrows and smelling the pine in the air – magic! Next step will be putting together my own arrows. It’s just part of the journey I suppose. I’ve never shot carbon arrows so can’t comment on them.
in reply to: Changing my taget practice #54339Nice shooting and innovative use of targets, just a pity people’s rubbish is there in the first place 🙁 Littering is one of those things that really gets my goat 😡

Oíche Shamhna Shona Daoibh – Happy Halloween to you all 😈
in reply to: It seemed like the odds were against me.. #48826Ah the penny drops! I remember that little bow of Troy’s, glad to hear it’s gone to such a good home. Enjoy… 8)
in reply to: It seemed like the odds were against me.. #47579I’ve often admired those tomahawks in the 3Rivers catalogue. What are they like to shoot? WTG on the custom recurve for your little girl, sounds like she can grow with the bow and keep her trad flame burning 😀
in reply to: Things seldom seen or never seen before #47572This is a great place for solving all kinds of things 😀
