Right below the gas tank cap, then you light the blood trail and it takes you right to your trophy 😛

When I was still using training wheels we were hunting the Uncompadre In CO.I was putting a stalk on a 5×5 elk. I was still 60 yards away when he raised his head looked off to his right down a fire break and then left the county. About 3 minutes later a guy on a 4 wheeler comes tooling down the fire break. Thought about launching on him but thought better of it:lol:

I hate to see two people with the same desire (archery) argue. Training wheels or bent stick, we need to stick together. I’m sure there will be a loud gasp when I type this but there are people out there that want to stop all hunting :D

I was taught to use a nail knot, sure like that one better, much easier to tie.

            Thanks

Wish I would have seen this before I tried cutting one of my carbon test kit arrows, splintered the end with my hack saw.

              Thanks for posting

Great looking bow, I hope the luck just gets shared with the new one. My wait for a Javaman bow has just started. Nov. Dec seams like a lifetime away but I know better.

MAN!! I thought there was something wrong with me!

I bird hunt with a guy who still gets upset when he doesn’t get a limit. He looks at me like I have two heads when I tell him he should be happy to be here, where ever here is.:D

We lost that battle in TX, I hope you are successful.

O.K. tell me what I’m looking for in a tuned arrow, I know flight but do I get an arrow sized to the broad head I plan to shoot?

I took the 600 advise but 100 gr heads were the best i couls get close to straight. I workeked a 175 gr head on a 400 shaft with good results. Both arrows were right slant about 15 degrees This angle measurement is SWAG!!

I would rather shoot the heavier head.

I’m noticing using the full length shafts that my draw is also getting longer. Been away from recurve for several years. Should I just shoot for a few weeks before I get serious about this. I’m thinking “yes”.

Fishing lures catch more fisherman than they do fish, I think this just falls into the same marketing

Please don’t ask me how I know about the fishing lures 😳

                              Just re-ordered another kit. I’m up to 40# @ 28″

                                9.1=400 10.= 340 Will try the spray, I am shooting off the shelf I’m shooting 26 3/4″ @ 26″ 35# right now, it’s a recurve if that matters

                                Thanks for the input

Well, to be sure I was sharing correct info I find my draw length is back to normal. 28″ my test kit is too short:oops:

Please feel free to add any thoughts

If you want to hunt ferral pigs, come to TX. We are over run with them. The state just made it legal to hunt them from a helicopter. No limit take all you want, they have piglets a muinimum of 3 times a year at 10-12 piglets a litter. The big ones get shot on site and the boars are dragged off to a location where they can rot away. Big boars are inetable
