I bet if googled it you could find some information about arrow/broadhead penetration. Do a search for a topic called “Dead Cow”. It’s a good read as I recall.

Hey Mark(DD) is there anything you can do for me?

I bought a gross of POC years ago and ended up giving most of them away because I ended up hating making them…lol

I love shooting them and don’t even mind breaking one on occasion since I love the smell but dang it I hate building those darn things. I use my broken ones for their smell,. I’ve been known to break an old broken shaft once in awhile just so I can get the fresh smell.

For me they are like building models(which I’ve always hated doing too) There’s no telling how many unfinished boxes were found around my house and under my bed when I left home as a young man entering the US Army.

I already know your answer, buy more!!…lol I will but they will be completed arrows from really good folks like you and Butch that love building them…lol

I’m not sure I understand what you’re offer. Is it the lot you’ve pictured or is it that you’ll send one to try. If it’s the former, then I’m too late to get into the game but if it’s the former please send me one to try. I’ve never gotten brave enough to try a super heavy weight broad head. It could be that I’m just a cheapskate and have a bunch of old green Bear Razorheads that I’ve been shooting for years now.
If you want to send one out I’ll give it a fair test.
            Thanks in advance.

I guess I don’t do much shopping because I’ve never heard of it until this reading.
I have a stool I built that sounds a lot like what you’ve written about. I’ll do a search after I finish this post and take a look at it.

My stool only has one leg and won’t work for places where you can’t poke it into the ground and it doesn’t have a back on it. I think you could use mine as a jack stand to change the oil in your small car or economy sized pickup. My seat is very comfortable and doesn’t make any noise when being swiveled around. I built mine so the bottom can be removed and my other base which can be racketed to a tree can be used.
Mine too is a little heavy but not so much as to cause me to think of not carrying it to the woods.
I can e-mail you pictures if you have any desire to look at it.
              Thanks for the good read!

I’ve seen a couple of bows marked Jim Bo’s for sale and was curious about them too. I’d appreciate knowing what you find out.
Which one of the bowyers bows was known for breaking? all wood or laminate?
                Thanks in advance!
