Sure will. Took My first bear with a 45# Kodiak Magnum. Key to it all is practice, practice, practice. Multiple angle shots. And most of all don’t let the bear psych you out. Pick a spot, focus and release. Just like a deer….That can claw the stuffing out of You….Good luck

Interesting Idea. I wonder how the antler will hold up to shooting strain. Also, How is the hand shock? Has to be some there.

Split finger since day one, and it has been almost 35 years. Was shown that way and it has worked well for me. No sense changing a good thing.

Honestly, all the Deer, Elk, and Bear could care less. All they knew was some crazy guy just flung something at them, and then lights out..

            Good thread…

Below zero all day. Has been for Months here in NW MN. Saw 2 chickadees wearing parkas on the bird feeder today. They rolled a soda can over and started a fire to stay warm. If spring is coming, someone tell it to hurry up…Been a long winter

Spine tester is expensive, and in My opinion a waste of money. 2 nails, 2 lbs of bananas and a sharpie are all that is needed. Along with a decent flying arrow from your bow. I use these simple items and have for years.

Bear Razor Heads are My first choice. Keep My supply active by picking flea markets and garage sales. That being said, a close second are the Herter’s Ram X. The 4 blade make large wound channels and have not had an animal move more than 60 yards after being hit…..

Looks Like an early “Paul Bunyan” Take down. Made in Minnesota in the 50’s
