      He may have a ‘gently used’ rack there…

      It’s a funny thing about that ghilli suit. On the same day that it was delivered, a dozen cedar shafts came. When I fletched them (poorly), and glued on the nocks and points, the strangest thing happened;
      The ghilli suit seemed less important. When I shot the cedars, it felt like everything about this changed. I’m reminded of a comment someone else posted about an evolution, of sorts, including going to traditional equipment, from carbon to aluminum to wood arrows, leaving the camo at home, etc. I think I understand a little bit better now.

              hope no one minds, but I had ordered a suit from 3rivers, and it was delivered today.

              How in the heck does one shoot in these things? I felt like I had extra appendages hanging off everywhere, and they all snagged my string.

                I hope none of those bucket drummers see this.

                  Your last point is a great one. If you listen to alot of ‘experts’ if you don’t/can’t shoot out to half a mile, then you shouln’t be there.
                  I know MY effective range is limited, but I will keep practicing untill it gets further.

                    Ok. A buddy and I are planning an OTC elk hunt this fall. We’ll be on 12 hour shifts in the fall, so we are going to head up to the mountains on our weekends, then head back to work.
                    then go back the next weekend, and the next, etc.

                      well Patrick, as a Michigan boy who did move out west, I’ll try not to rub it in…
                      My name is Matt, and I am here in Denver keeping the streets safe. I am returning to the sport after long couple of decades out of the woods, and I am having a blast with the longbow that my brother gave me so long ago. I have no idea who made it, only that my bro gave it to me and that’s what counts to me.
                      I am the math and physics type, so I pour over FOC and momentum and energy and all of the other things and that drives my friends crazy.
