Two reflex/deflex that I have experience with are Herb Meland’s Pronghorn. Both one and three piece. They have a “grip locator” handle.
A second bow I like to shoot is Fred Hermann’s “Flying Eagle”
I have a three piece and it’s grip is more high wrist. Like a recurve. (your Martin for example) Both R/D but quite different to shoot.
Good luck in your quest.

Probebly more stick bows there than any shop I know of.
Hands on too.

JWin reply to: Please introduce yourselves, I'll start #12746Hi all, I am JW McCorkle, known here as JWnWyoming, a handle that answers some questions without them being asked. On another site I am Prarrie Dog. I live in Casper Wyoming and am a retired LEO. Archery and motorcycles are my main interest along with some shooting sports.
Jesus Christ is my savvior and guiding light. Married for almost 28 years to a woman that puts up with me. She thinks I’m crazy and I never question her judgement. I appreciate beauty in both nature and by the hands of craftsmen. A finely crafted bow, arrow, knife are all things I admire as well as a mountain lake or skyline. In all things GOD IS GOOD.in reply to: HOWARD HILL MY HERO #10306I think you should put it on you-tube and give us a link. 😉

in reply to: subscription #59946Thanks Dave, Nice thing about being retired is the dates are flexable. Two other retired LEO’s are going with me so We are all looking forward to the trip.
Is Milt Beens place still open? If so has he got a web site? I used to stop in and see Vern Butler in Evanston when I was hauling bandits. Small trad shops are always a treat to visit.
JWin reply to: Choosing the right bow #57836Ah, the quest for that elusive first bow. I agree that you should hang out with archers, One of them might have a bow hanging in the closet. And probley for cheap. Good luck on your hunt.
