David, Yeah, your reply makes sense to me. And I appreciate it. I was having an issue getting my head around this issue.
in reply to: Brace Height #30930Thanks for your reply, Stumpkiller. But how and why does this effect arrow flight? I guess that what I’m trying to understand.
in reply to: New to bow hunting… entirely #20067As was mentioned earlier, enjoy. Enjoy the bow. Enjoy the arrows. Enjoy getting to understand their relationship with each other and with you. Enjoy learning how to hunt with your bow and arrows. Enjoy learning how to get closer to a wild deer than you ever thought you could. This is fun stuff, man. Enjoy it. And good luck to you.
in reply to: Happy Thanksgiving!!! #15989Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone. Be safe.
in reply to: Bowhunting whitetail's video #63526That’s a really well-done video, Chris. Thanks for sharing it with us.
in reply to: Happy Halloween #48969Happy Halloween, everyone. I guess the deer were all at a party today as I saw none in the woods. Oh well.
in reply to: Your Dream Hunt #35425I’d have to say an elk hunt in the Rockies is by far my dream hunt. It started forty years ago when Dad had the same dream and implanted it in my mind. We just never got out there, and I’m still hopeful that it’ll happen.
in reply to: Martin Archery #33351I still shoot a Martin Longbow that I purchased in the 1980s. Love it!
The LL Bean hunting boot is certainly the way to go. I’ve had the same pair for going on 10 years, and they just keep going. Plus, LL Bean has their lifetime 100% satisfaction guarantee. Can’t beat that. I use the insulated boots as I live in Maine, but I’m sure the uninsulated boots would be great in warmer climates.
