Happened to me in Northern Maine,kinda makes your butt pucker a little when there really aint room for both of you on the stand.He went back down and lost his life to a 2 blade Magnus about 10 minutes later.

I love to stump shoot 50 and 60 yards to see the arrow in flight.My hunting distance is about 20 yards.

Was at a shoot with my Ernie Root recurve when I saw my first compound.Had no idea what it was so I asked the older gentleman who taught me to shoot bows.He told me it was a fad contraption that he hoped would go away,or it would ruin our sport.Kinda think he was right.

I am rh have always shot rw feathers,only because the Bitzenberger jigs that were given to me had rw clamps.Have great arrow flight with a slight offset and 5 1/2 inch shield cuts.

I shoot 3 5 1/2 inch shield cut on my 56 pound Robertson longbow .POC with 160 grains up front.Shot some 4 fletch 4 inch parabolic when I was about 15 or 16 years old,long time ago as I am now 53.

I am 53,started with a Bear Grizzly when I was 16.Switched to a longbow about 15 years ago.First thing to cause the switch was physical weight,then took notice that longbows seemed a lot quieter to me.Have had Howard Hill bows as well as Stotler and several self bows.Shooting a Robertson that my son gave me and am happier with it ,and shoot it better than any I have ever owned.
