There was a very positive response from a donation I made to a trad shoot down in Texas in April. They were doing a fund raiser for the Wounded Warrior Project along with regional shoot. I donated ONE purple heart arrow with gold trim and they auctioned it off for $400! I heard there was quite an emotional response which is very rewarding to hear. All proceeds go to WWP. I would like to keep doing this as one arrow per event is do able. My question for all their folks here is how can I find out which trad shoots/clubs etc are connecting with them WWP so I can contact those clubs? (I’m not well versed in finding things online so if anyone knows a quick way to find them Info I would greatly appreciate it). Thanks much.

one group that might know who to contact is the outdoor buddies program which is geared toward disabled hunters.

              Good on you Kevin…

I try to do a couple of WW hunts each year and encourage others to do the same…

A commendable job. From all of us vet’s thank you:D.

You might want to check out these sites:

                  http://WWW.operationsecondchance.org

                  http://WWW.woundedwarriorsinaction.org

Both have my personal mark of approval for what they do and where the donated money goes.

And in the spirit of disclosure the second link has a video of the founder John McDaniel Lt Col USA (ret). Army ranger who served with me on many occasions. Even though he is a wheel bow guy, good man, great organization.
