If this book does not win both a Pulitzer Prize and a National Book Award, there is something seriously wrong with the nature of things. (That pun is intentional.)
My wife read the opening pages to me on the way home from the bookstore. As soon as she’s done, I’ll be eager to read the whole thing. The analysis and the writing are top notch.
