I shot this buck at 16 yds quartering away. This was a pass through shot, with the entrance severing the 10th rib on the left side and the exit wound severing the 2nd rib to exit proximal to the right shoulder. I shoot a 57# Robertson Stykbow with a Carbon Express arrow and an Abowyer Brown Bear head. Total arrow wt. is 580gr and a 21% FOC. Great blood trail, deer expired after approximately 50yds.

Nice buck!

Ya know, until I became interested in traditional archery I would have never dreameed that a pass through was possible with traditional equipment. I think it would shock most compound shooters.

Hey Patrick! Brother don’t worry about offending us. Takes a lot more than that and it’s our jokes in return that seem not to come through always.
