I originally went on a trip to 3 Rivers to get a Tomahawk Woodland hunter, but they just sold the one I went there to get, but Dale had a Great Plains Bamboo in 55# so I got it. Great Plains actually makes the Tomahawk series and I love my Great Plains. Have not shot or priced a Black Widow, so cant tell you about them, probably a little more money, but Im guessing. Best bet would be to shoot both, is that an option for you?

I love that Woodland Hunter, real unique looking! Widows have a great following thats for sure but I am a fan of differant! But you really can’t go wrong on either one!

I’d never claim either one was better, but I’ve just bought a Tomahawk Diamond Desertfox and absolutely love it,,,the Woodland is pretty much the same bow, just with different colours.

I have friends that own Widows,,,I kind of like them as well.

              Sorry.not much help huh!

I just traded my Tomahawk for a N/Mist Baraga and while it is a really nice bow I miss my Tomahawk. For the money difference no way to go wrong with the Tomahawk, especially the Diamond series. I had the reg Desert Fox and it all the speed I needed and smooth as butter.

Jason, hope you’re not getting rid of your Savannah! They’re a heck of a bow. Glad to see your choosing between 2 good ones. I’d favor the Woodland as I heard they are real good shooters and the price is cheaper than the BW. I’ve only shot the Savannahs and like them. Your choice, buddy…
