I’ve had one for more than 20 years and it has never failed me. Only real diff between the Bohning and Blitz is one is metal, the other ballistics plastic. Both are great. If I ever need another jig it will be another Bohning, as I appreciate long-lasting quality at a good price.

Yep there the same basically. If that’s the one in your range go for it.

I have ordered one and now just saying thanks again to everyone who posts on this site. The information one can incure in such a short time is amazing.
As Will Rodgers once said Life ain’t easy. You’re lucky if ya live through it. Thanks guys

Hey Dave! Do you use a helix or just offset the fletching?
-
Bill — I use a mild offset.
Dave — I wouldn’t want to rob you of the joys of studying the instructions and experiementing and figuring it out for yourself. 😆

Dave — I’d say it’s even less than personal preference … it just doesn’t matter, so long as feathers and heads match. I shoot left bevel but have no reason other than long habit. It does seem that left-bevel is more common and with feathers a bit easier to come by. While it’s a bit of a non sequitur to your questions, I have come strongly to prefer small 4-fletch, 4×3″, half-inch high, for fletching all my shafts, both wood and carbon (like others here joked in another thread, I too “long ago quit shooting recycled beer cans). I’d look at your favorite feather supplier, and your favorite source for the single-bevel heads you wisely plan to switch to, and see if there’s any diff in availability of either in L or R wing, and go with those most available.

Thank you again. This website is a tool to vast knowledge and I enjoy seeing what’s on my traditional brothers and sister’s mind at any given time.. I’ve got to go and play with my new fletcher and dream of far away places. Happy Easter to all and leave a turkey in the woods for me.

There was another discussion on the ez-fletch.

Might have some info you can use.
Be well.
