Ok, Im practicing at 15 yards, Im shooting mostly sitting on a 5 gal bucket. Also trying to simulate conditions , I am being as quiet as possible.
I have a hunt planned Dec 11&12 with a guy who knows trad. Hes gonna give me a intro.
But I am still going to hunt this thanksgiving,
I need to buy some glue on broadheads . I think I want 2 blade. I know opinions will be all over the place, but would zwickey be a good 2 blade broadhead. I am thinking 125 grain . I will be glueing them on cajun wood arrows. shooting at about 45 # -
i think a zwicky would be good.I THINK A SINGLE BEVEL HEAD WOULD BE BETTER,LOOK AT THE ASHBY LIBRARY.

I have the same issue when it comes to broadheads. In the Dec/Jan issue of Traditional Bowhunter there is an article about FoC. The article suggests that a heavier broadhead gives you a better flying arrow when dealing with the lighter bows. I also shoot under 50# bows and am wondering if anyone has had this experience with heavier broadheads?

Zwickeys would be an excellent choice. I hunted with both Eskimos and Deltas for years and had nothing but excellent results. They sharpen easily, mount true, fly great, and are extremely durable.
Zwickey has been making broadheads for about 70 years. That track record more than speaks for itself.
