Hey, Burt … I’ve tried only two carbons, the Easton Axis and the Carbon Express Heritage, so I’m no expert. But I much prefer the Carbon Express Heritage 250s I shoot in my recurve (51# @ 29″). When I put on the heavier (61#) limbs, I shoot the 350s. My wife shoots the 150s in her 44# recurve. They all shoot great and are heavy with the front-loaded 160-grain broadheads and brass inserts I use. And, in the long run, cheaper than the cedar shafts I shot for so long. I love the smell of Port Orford cedar, but the Carbon Express Heritage shaft will remain in my bow quiver. ➡

I agree on the CX Heritage best carbon I have found so far super tough! I have a 54@28 longbow and I draw 29 1/2 I shoot a 350 heritage with a 175 gr point arrows fly great! My 50lb bows like the 150s cut to 30.5 with 145 points! I have tried GT Trads, Axis and Bemans all great arrows but for me if I shoot carbons it is CX Heritages all the way!

I can only endorce CX Heritage 250’s for you desired carbon arrows, and that is also what I carry in my quiver.

I used CX Heritage shafts for several years and was happy with them. But I found that Gold Tip Arrows flew better for me. I attributed it to the fact that they are lighter and so they achieve better FOC.
The CX shafts are definitely tougher though…
