I will be useing a broadhead of my own design.. and a home made long bow with home made cedar arrows. The broadhead is made of carbon steel hand forged then sharpened to a razor edge. The head weighs 145 grains and the total arrow weight is 577 grains shot out of a 28in Draw @ 48 pound Draw weight. The arrow leaves my bow at about 183 fps.

In July, I went to MO-JAM and with help, turned a 100 year old Osage fence post into a bow. The bow is 45lb. I will be using cedar arrows with 125 gr snuffers.

I will either be using my Bear Super Kodiak Grayling 55# or my Samick Spikeman 50# with CX Heritage 150’s tipped with 165 gr Zwickey Eskimo’s having a total arrow weight of 605 gr.

i be chasin whitetails with my martin savannah 50@27 longbow and cedar arrows made by good friend TIM LIGHT with a 125 zwickey eskimo head, arrows are about 550 gr! good luck to all

I’ll be using the same basic setup I’ve shot for the past several years — a mid-50s weight recurve shooting 500-grain carbon arrows tipped with 125-grain Ace Standards.

I’ll be using my 70# Super Kodiak, aluminum GameGetters, & 165 grain Zwickey “No Mercies.” I just got 1 dozen of the arrows today. They are some sweet shooters.

Starting out with my 50# Predator, cedar shafts with 125 gr Zwickey 2 blades. If successful with that, I may switch over to my 48# Hickory selfbow with 5/16 hickory shafts and 100 gr Zwickey 2 blades w/bleeders. Bow quivers on both bows.

I guess My buddy shoots a 61 pound recurve with a simular arrow at at 203 FPS -

Never heard off Easton Dangerous game Arrows or 200 grain Masai Broadhead. can you provide some info on these might be something I want to look into.
