        Been shooting pretty consitantly, and think I’m ready to start some hunting. I’m in West Texas, got my tags, but don’t really know where to go. I have discovered that there is not a lot of Public land here. Anyone know some good, afordable places to hunt here? Hogs, Javelina, and Deer are what I’m after, and maybe some turkey!

          Shawn — Indeed, hunting in TX is all about private property, either knowing someone or paying a fee. If you find a good place to hunt hogs that’s not too far from the CO border, please share. Only thing that keeps me from going down there to stock the freezer with feral pork is the long boring drive. I hope someone here can help you. dp
