Recently while lost in Wally World I happened upon ‘Choke Rings’ for baseball bats. A couple of bucks or so for a pair. Thought ‘What The Heck’ and bought a set. Put a little Neatsfoot Oil on the insides and slid them onto the limbs all of the way to the riser. Wiped off the excess oil with some Rubbing Alcohol.
Seems to lessen hand shock a bit and so far hasn’t caused any problems.
