If the point end is parallel, then I’d cut that end myself… cause the tapered end, will vary in size depending on where the cut comes and you may have trouble finding a nock…
THat is of course, assuming (spelling?) you are NOCK tapering, cause I don’t think in my limited experience I’ve heard of guys point tapering and leaving the nock end parallel…
I did barrel tapered…was a chore.. my Great RRA were 23/64 tapered to 5/16 nock end… big, fat “killing end” to use your term, but they were hell for stout!
