I would really like to hear everybody’s opinions. If you were to be sent away to a Hunters Heaven and were only allowed to bring your Favorite 5 bows with you. Which would they be?
-
I would definitely bring both of my Black Widow Longbows, a 63lb Kingwood PLX & 55lb PLIII. I would also have to throw in my Matlock longbow, that is perfect for turkey hunting. The other two bows, well that is hard to answer. There are a ton of other bows that I would love to own. Tough question. 😀

I would have to go with the longbows I have now, my 2 wild thing custom bows one is 54# red elm long bow and the other is a 50# bamboo backed osage longbow.

1 — Shrew Classic Hunter
4 — Osage selfbows I made myself -
oke here goes:
My personal Elk bow (my absolute favorite),
73 Kodiak Hunter( saved my life, and brought me back to trad archery),
Canyon Creek longbow( one of the best longbows I have ever shot),
Tradtech Black Onyx (a great shooting bow),
and last but not least.. my Monster bows leverbow( the baddest bow of any type I have ever had the pleasure to shoot). -
i would only take two. a fred bear grizzly recurve, and a fred bear montana longbow

My 62 inch Centaur takedown 62 @29 is what I wished my others were!

Shrew Classic Hunter
I have one that formerly belonged to Ron LaClair and it has become my number 1 choice for a longbow. Prior to that I would have said one of the BW’s that I used to own, but now for me the short bow is the way to go. -
Since I am relatively new to traditional archery, my perspectives and opinions are not as well seasoned as those who have chimed in thus far. That said I, I have become very partial to a vintage Martin Hunter that my father-n-law passed on to me. I also own three vintage Bear bows: Grizzly, Kodiak Magnum, Kodiak Hunter. I have yet to make a bow, but I suspect that through the process I will become a selfbow convert.

Well since it is heaven, God already has the best of the best there, so I wouldn’t have to take any, because the best would already be waiting for me with perfectly matched arrows for each one.

For real, I’ll ask God to make my bow. Only it may be TOO good then. I’ll make my own arrows to balance it. 😆
While here on Earth I’m content with my Bama Royal and the new Cocobola Expedition I have on the way.
The next bow on my list would be a Holm-Made Osprey 62″. Great bows! I fell in love with one at the expo and am giving Chad BIG props.
