I was out for more rabbits today. Four for the day! Two in the pic because I skinned two early in the day when it was pretty hot. I thought a pic of some skinned carcasses would be in poor taste.
The low point was losing one down a hole. Ive never been able to take that to well.
The highlight was stalking one from 100 yards, closing in to <15 yards undetected. I was busted during the draw and managed to get him on his first bound.

Mmm, rabbit stew for dinner? Rabbit hunting is some of the best fun you can have with a bow in my little opinion 😀

Do snowshoes taste similar to jacks?

On another note, what is that quiver made of ? It almost looks like a spotted fawn !
I really want to get a snowshoe hare one day! The jacks around here are, to me, one of the finest archery trophies available.
The quiver is axis deer. A friend shot one on a canned hunt in Texas and I tanned the hide for him. He gave me half of it.
