I’ve taken 3 “backyard” bucks over the years, just a couple hundred yards into the woods behind my house. Gotta hunt where the deer are! Good luck!

You two are a couple of very lucky guys. It would be so great to have hunting that close. I have deer within a few hundred yards of my house too, but have to go about twenty miles to get to land open to hunting.

Awesome! Great pics! You guys are lucky that can hunt out your back door. This year I have a new place and reduced my drive time from 3 hours to 40 minutes. The shorter drive almost feels like a back door hunt.

                  Thanks for sharing.

Here is a pic from one of my blinds on a nice oak ridge, been seeing quite a few deer here! Got a shot last nite at nice size doe dark hit a sapling! Deer were on the move before the front moved in! This blind is about 15 minutes from me!

Well, the backyard spot has always been reserved for when my other spots don’t work out. I have a couple of spots 15 – 20 minutes away and acres of public land about 30 minutes away, some of it accessible by boat or by foot if you want to rub elbows with everyone else. Hard to imagine having to travel to deer hunt because now they are everywhere in our state.
