when will they be available on the web site to buy?

They are coming, this photo is the first 9 in existence, and I had 25 packs that I took to Kalamazoo for the Traditional Bowhunter Expo. I was selling 6-packs there for $90. That price may change slightly, I am trying to add Teflon to the blades.
They should be readily available in April, and I will put them on the website soon.
Ireland-they are crazy sharp.

Blake,
Thanks for the information. The Werewolf will be a great addition to an outstanding line of Eclipse broadheads. Keep up the great work!

I just returned from Boise and the ID trad event, where I got to handle these wicked-looking new heads and enjoyed a long chat with Blake. The Teflon coating brings up the common human inner-battle between flash and function. The blades are just gorgeous, like polished silver, so from an aesthetical pov it’s a shame to dull ’em with a coating. On the other hand, from a practical pov, that same pretty glint works against us in the field, so I’m with you on the coating, Blake. So far as I can tell, the Werewolves incorporate several improvements including a 25-degree bevel (for the single-bevel option), upgrade to 52-54 Rockwell hardness (my personal preference range since any harder is unnecessarily hard to sharpen and any softer, IMHO, is too soft and risking failure on elk-sized heavy bone strikes). The Tanto tip looks great too and I love the heavier weights these offer. I hope that some of these upgrades, after a shake-out period of user field testing, can be adapted to the classic Eclipse and/or a glue-on Werewolf. Best luck and thanks Blake for your unrelenting innovation. Folks will be impressed, to say the least, to learn that the ferrules are attached to the solid blade with tiny screws and Blake inserts every last screw by hand with a tiny driver. Talk about TLC! dave

Bruc and Biggie — Forgive me for answering for Blake, but I know he is currently distracted by family issues. I’m holding a prototype single-bevel Werewolf in my hand right now and yes, the back edges are beveled and as sharp as the main blades, which are as sharp as any resharpenable heads I’ve seen from the factory. I personally will want to touch them up before hunting, but it’s a touch-up job only with no filing necessary. And the bevel is perfect for the ABS single-bevel touch-up sharpener. And like the ABS Ashby, the Abowyer Brown Bear and other top-end single-bevels, the Werewolf’s blade is machined from a single sturdy piece of stainless, rather than two thin plates welded together. This provides a wider bevel shelf for more torque, and I believe also greater tip strength. I find myself just staring at this head as one would a shapely knife blade. I can’t wait for the snow to melt so I can get out and put this promising new offering through my personal testing regimen for penetration, flight stability, skip resistance, etc. I love pretty new toys! dp

DP, thanks for helping me out.
Biggie, they are pretty sharp, but the production run should be scary sharp.
The Teflon will be the same as on the Eclipse, sadly Teflon is super expensive, and colored Teflon is even more, like twice as much.

They should be available mid May, Homer, we’ll see about the steel ferrules.

Bone,
Thanks, maybe if I can get the volume up I can get some colors, but I have to admit, the black looks pretty cool.
