Thanks for the info. Great to hear.

Heard about this earlier today. I’m happy to know they didn’t go under.

Grizzly was the leader of the single bevel broadheads. It is too good of a broadhead to go by the wayside. This is good news for the archery world.

That’s a generous view for you to take, Joe, considering that Grizzly is in direct competition with your Tuffhead. I’ve heard similar “comraderie trumps competition” views expressed by Blake Fischer of Eclipse/Werewolf, toward fellow small-op broadhead makers. Where else in American business can we find such mutual respect and well-wishing than among “Ma and Pa” traditional archery and bowhunting entrepreneurs? My applause. Dave

Thanks.”Competition is the American way”. In the long run it is better for all of us. You are right about the archery world most of the traditional guys have respect for each other.
I could not tell you how many bowyers shared ideas with me when I first started out building custom bows years ago. I have never forgotten that. At the time I was amazed…. but grateful. -
This is a great post for different reasons. Hats off to a good product remaining in the market. Hats off to gentlemen in competition. It’s true, in business we never steady our place by wishing harm on the other guy, only by being true to being the best we can be ourselves. I don’t think any of us want to see another guy doing good work go under, especially these days.
Very refreshing. dwc -
A wonderful sentiment about “mom/pops”. Very telling about the caliber of folks not only on our site here but about Trad folks in general…:D
I own a small insurance agency, constantly besieged by the big banks / insurance “warehouse” type of agencies. We keep our clients, and they stay with us because we refer clients to other clients and, if I don’t know something, I’m not afraid to refer clients to a few other insurance agents I’m friends with, and they do the same. Do what you do best, do it well and maintain your integrity is something that holds true for all of us, in our professional and personal lives. My “business mantra” is that there are a boatload more small guys than ATT’s in the world. We (“mom/pops”) outnumber them and, frankly, employ more folks as a whole. Same holds true in our Trad world. Plenty of us to purchase products of the good, quality US manufacturers we’re talking about here. I think our friends in DC and elsewhere who run the show could take a lesson from all of us :!::roll: -
Great news about Grizzly heads. I just started using El Grandes last year, think I probably bought some of the last production batches. They fly like darts and gave great penetration on a buck and a doe so far this season, both dropped within 50 yards. Any idea when they’ll be available?

I am sure glad to hear this great news. I have a lot of folks asking for Grizzly heads and so I won’t have to tell them I can’t get them anymore. Oh happy days…..:D
