On Saturday in the evening when we cam back form a party, I realized the awning needed to be rolled up. So I went out back with the dog to do this. The dog went crazy barking, so being curious as I am I ducked under the awning and saw these 2 wonderful lads.

Now keep in mind I live in the western suburbs of Denver so while I often see scat in the winter from them in some small areas this was a rare treat. I am thinking they both range in age of about 2-4 but could be wrong. One more pic of them enjoying the community garden

Shades of Estes Park. 😀 I think you have their ages about right.

It is interesting that they are coming down close to Denver this year must be the drought. Of course the wife being a joker said I should buy a tag for back yard and shoot one of these when they come back in Spet.

              Skifrk –

You would have to break out your “suburban” camo for “sneaky Pete-ing” around the “hood” haha. The feeding grounds look quite lush. Have you set up your blind at the wallow yet?

              Elk hunting of the future!?

No need to set up the blind near a wallow with these guys. I think I should just sit on the fence like a buzzard and shoot them. This definitely beat the usual bunny porn we get to watch in the garden

Well you wouldn’t have to worry about packing out the meat – honey, could you open the freezer door please? 😆

All joking aside, here in Republic of NJ, SOME of us are fortunate to be able to bow hunt our backyards 8)

Of course some joker will ruin it eventually 👿 …
