Well if you remember the donation that I was getting

And yes, that one on the left had a sight window with pins, elevated rest etc……

After a bit of work on the ugly camo’d one which we will try and remove that fugly paint later.

The one is a 35# Kodiak Hunter, and the camo’d one feels like a 55# as both of these shoot nice, I put the string silentcers on after the pictures were taken.

Wow!!!…sweet pair! I shoot/hunt with a 55# Super Kodiak too! I bought it new a few yrs. ago. It is by far,my favorite of ALL time bows! I’ll bet if you gently remove the camo paint, you’ll find a beuty under there. If not, maybe you’ll want it refinished. I see it’s quite common now, alot of guys are still shooting their older bows, great to see though.
The kodiak hunter was the first “real” Bear I owned.I had it in late 80’s..early 90’s. I wish i still had it! well, good luck and have fun with your new bows!

After finishing the strike plate and fur shelf, well I just started to remove the paint. Oh the beauty that has been hidden under this Rustolium paint.

This Super Kodiak is so nice to shoot, and the serial number begins with KL which gives it a circa of 71/72 it is also a 55# with AMO 60″ with Nickel-Silver Bear medallion.

The wood so far shows an awesome grey with blue stripe laminate with some fading in the grey. This of course can be fixed by http://www.prairietrad.com/page30.html
