Recently,I had two of my bows fail and I got one from my brother-in-law to continue getting ready for bow season.
Then I get an e-mail from one of our members offering a bow for me to use until spring. I was dumbfounded….Someone who heard my plight and didn’t know me from Adam, giving me a bow to use.
Thank you,Mike Cuiksa, for being a traditional bowhunter and having the heart to help someone in need.:)
        Sincerely,
        Wayne Barcalow

That is so cool, It never ceases to amaze me the generosity of the trad crowd. I hope that you can you can get comfortable with a new bow before season starts.

Hey Wayne. Hope everything works out.
Certainly a nice gesture from a fellow bowhunter!

As you can see by my picture,I’m right-handed,Bruce…but thanks for the offer. 🙂 I’m going to a shoot tomorrow with the bow my brother-in-law let me borrow.

I couldn’t agree more! This Spring I went on a Bear hunt with a fellow from my local trad oragnisation, and during the hunt my bow busted. So my friend made me a spanking new custom bow as a thanks for hosting the Bear hunt. Didn’t even charge me a dime! By far and large trad shooters are some of the best folks to be around for sure.

Wild,my friend who made my Elk River has reglued the riser and has put it back in the press under 100 lbs of pressure for a week or so. We’re meeting next week halfway between us for me to get my bow back. He’s doing it for nothing, but I’m buying him anything he wants at the Bob Evans’ restaurant where we’re meeting……
                          Wayne 🙂
