I decided since I will be winging my way to South Africa at the end of the month for a photo safari, that I would need some good reading material for the long flight. I bought 2 of Don’s books off their website and they sent them out quickly. I am grateful with them for doing that knowing Don’s dad is in the the hospital. Thanks and hope Don’s dad feels better soon.

Big fan of DP’s books…I’ve read, and he’s been gracious enough to sign/inscribe each one, 4 of them now ( reading Writing Naturally as we speak).

As for Dr. Don, I seek out every article he writes and typically read them first. I’ve not had the pleasure of reading one of his books yet but plan to order one or two this month (I love to read when I’m in the woods, I know I know, I should be paying attention but to lose myself in a wonderful read about my favorite subject while sitting in The Good Lord’s Cathedral is an intoxicating situation I can’t walk away from -or put myself in enough 😀 )

Any suggestions as to which of Don’s books I should read first 8) ???

I could not wait for the plane ride to start reading so I started to read “Have Bow will travel” enjoying it a lot.

My wife and I ambushed Don right after his talk at PBS Nashville, with a stack of his books we wanted him to sign.He was very much a gentleman. First, he introduced us to his lovely wife, Lori. Then he signed all our books, engaging us in conversation the whole time.

Later, I emailed him with a question about recommending a bird book for a trip we were taking to Africa. He answered almost immediately with a title, but also told me they were on a speaking trip, and he would mail me again when he got home with more info. Within a few days, he sent me more titles, and good wishes. No big ego there. Just a really nice man with exceptional manners.
