I don’t know how you fellows read through the magazines so fast. It takes me 2 weeks or more to get through one. So I am never the first one to say something about it here.

But looks like this time I’ve got the scoop 8)

I really liked the double feature story/interview with Dave P. I guess I’ll have to add a few Petersen books to my never shortening reading list. There are FAAAR to many good books in the world. My wife says people can write a book faster than I can read it.

Dave – I have 3 elk preference points for CO. How about taking a sorry lowlander with you? I’ll huff and I’ll puff and squeal like a pig. I’m sure that will bring the big boy in 😳 At the very least it should provide some humorous fodder for your writing…

Thanks for the fine thoughts expressed in the interview, and to Mr. Downing for sharing his story too. Life is good.

Yup, best part of the issue. I really liked the photo of the Petersen cabin. It appears to be off the grid. Mr Peterson would you mind sharing with a fellow dreamer how to go about that lifestyle in a Northern climate? Most of the info my wife and I have found deals with homes in the South. Not sure how it would hold up in -45*C.
