I got up this morning, drank some coffee, looked at the obits and said thanks for another day. I then saw my renewal notice for Traditional Bowhunter. OOPS! I had forgotten to renew!
I jumped on the telephone and dialed up the 800. A nice young lady answered the phone and got me renewed for another three years. (even goin’ to send me a decal for doing it). She assured my I hadn’t missed any issues. I have every single one from the begining. Now I can sit back, relax with another cup of coffee and check up on all of you. Take care and God bless.

Well shucks, at my age and given my many deadly habits — good ice cream every night being most dangerous among them — a 3-year subscription would probably outlive me! 😆 Seriously, the TBM family — in fact two couples — are the most real people you’ll likely every find in a generally impersonal publishing industry. It’s why TBM is the only magazine I’ve worked closely with for several years now. Nobody there is getting rich off us, that’s for sure. dave

We sure are blessed though to have so many great friends and customers! It’s always been about more than just money! 😯
Thanks, JW for your renewal. We’ll keep those magazines coming.Dave, if I were you I wouldn’t even buy green bananas! 😀 Just kidding…you’ll outlive us all!

“Green Banannas” now that’s funny right there!
Robin, thanks for the personal touch.
Dave, if I remember, you are around Durango, arn’t you?
I am planning a MC trip down that way in May. I’ve never ridden to the 4 corners yet. -
J — yes indeed I am. But May could be too early, esp. this year with massive snowpack. I would come as late as possible prior to school-out: late May/early June. There’s one big jump in tourism in early June, and a much bigger bump starting July 4. If you’re moteling, no big deal. If you’re camping, you can expect snow in the high country in early May. Hard to beat the stretch from Montrose down to Durango for scenery, ups and down and curves … with fantastic fishing and hunting everywhere you can see. Then to Pagosa Springs, Chama and Taos for more of the same. Ride safe, dave

Thanks Dave, Nice thing about being retired is the dates are flexable. Two other retired LEO’s are going with me so We are all looking forward to the trip.
Is Milt Beens place still open? If so has he got a web site? I used to stop in and see Vern Butler in Evanston when I was hauling bandits. Small trad shops are always a treat to visit.
