I set out my game cam over a spring on the 2nd so went back today to check for images. I took the bow along to do some stump shooting as well. Dang rocky place to do some stump shooting that’s for sure.

Here’s the first image on the camera. Nice color bear.

Then these 3 guys came through at different times. Wish I’d drawn an elk tag.

Also there was a bobcat, mule deer, and a bunch of turkey buzzards that showed up at the spring. We will be gone till August 3rd so it will be interested in seeing what shows up. I have the cam taking a picture every 5 minutes as well on capture mode to try and get pictures of animals out of trigger range.

Checked my cam and all I saw was a short, ugly, old man with a white mustache.

Nice shots. I’d like to borrow a trail cam to put next to my compost pile! Dwc

Possums and skunks and crows mainly. No big racks that I’m aware of. I’d just like to see photos of those critters. It just never gets old. Big deer, chipmunks, good red squirrels. Gotta love it. I went to throw out some leftovers the other night and I saw a big white flag waving at me. A gentle, but hasty retreat was in order. best, dwc

Had my cam out for almost a month and got these pictures. The bear would come down and cool off in the spring tank. Just another week and I’ll go chase this bear.

I added a blown up image to the original

Caught the bear in the tank.

Here’s what it looked like after its bath

Looks like there are multiple bear in the area. I went out Saturday and tried calling with no luck but found quite a few bear on my game cam. Saw the first sow with 3 cubs. She’s a good sized girl as the tank is 10′ across. The tank in the second picture is 6′. 2 of the cubs have their heads down so they look like rocks.
