Having a bout with consistency lately. So I took out my old Bear Grizzly and did ok. That said I noticed a squeak when I pull back. It’s the string rubbing a little on the limb when I pull back. Never heard that before. Maybe I need a shorter string?

Try string wax on the loops.

Sometimes there’s a groan too.  Be my old body parts though methinks.

Try string wax on your joints.

Mayhap it’s not the wax that’s too old. ???

Try spraying Lemon Pledge on the offending parts.  Won’t help but at least you won’t smell like Ben Gay Ointment.

At 75 I’ll just squeak a little and try not to squawk to much.
