Who has one? I got one for my tree sharks and knives but can’t seem to find how to use it. I figured there’d be a video somehwere but can’t find one. Thanks for any help.

This is another reason for straight-edged broadheads. Concave are really difficult to get properly sharp as you can’t use an standard sharpening tools on them. Convex blades tend to wear down toward flat, most often unevenly, potentially affecting flight.

Sent an email to Simmons and got the answer pretty much immediately.

The steel master got em shaving my leg hairs inside of five minutes.

Love Simmons. I’ll never shoot anything else.

Work up a real good burr first with a steel file. Just push straight up on the blade. Then use the instructions with the sharpener. I’m afraid of touch them now.

I was going up and towards the front or back depending upon which side I was working on. But I don’t have any simmons heads now so…

Watch some youtube videos of Chris Spikes hunting with Simmons Tree Sharks.

They don’t just look “nasty”. There is a lot of science behind why convex broadheads fly better, penetrate better, and cut a wider hole than any straight edge head ever dreamed about. If you can’t get them sharp, try harder. They cut a hole that should be reserved for spears.
