        I was making up a test set of fir shafts for bareshaft testing and decided to code the spine of each shaft with a crest. It would probably be easier to just write the spine on each shaft, but I thought this would be more fun.

        Can you decipher the code?

          Top to Bottom:

          40-45

          45-50

          50-55

          55-60

            Yup, standard electronics color coding:

            Black = 0

            Brown = 1

            Red = 2

            Orange = 3

            Yellow = 4

            Green = 5

            Blue = 6

            Violet = 7

            Grey = 8

            White = 9

            For old eyes like mine, I can tell which shaft is what spine without having to find my reading glasses first. 😀
