Standing Bear, you DO realize how BAD you make all the rest of us look, RIGHT? lol
I gave this thought, and sadly, I cannot think of a single person in my area, new to trad or simply in need due to his or her bow breaking, and deserving of such a fine bow.
I do have faith in the group, as a whole, finding a person that would give this bow (and the giver) the respect deserved.
I do, however, salute you, Sir!!! Once again, I find myself in awe of our community. NO OTHER shares the information, the material items and shares such a mutual respect….even when we don’t agree on an issue. 😀
God bless,
Steve -
Steve, there is another very important person in my life that is also doing this with me, my wife. And your right, we do indeed have a great community where people share information, material items and mutual respect, well said Sir.
Sharing of even the smalest things in life make the biggest of difference with people, a simple smile for example can brighten someone’s day.
Traditional archery folk have always been there for my family, I know that for a fact and this is my families way of giving back to a group that has been there for us through thick and thin.
With that being said, folks, if you know someone that needs a bow in the weight that is mentioned above, again, put their name in here 🙂

perfect weight for a beginner, too bad I cant think of anyone either, I basically know every trad bowhunter in the area, I’m one of like 20:). I’m sure someone will christen that bow, and I totally agree with the others that our community is so . . . caring of one another!

I am Entering This For A Guy That Is Considered “Quadrapalegic” but He Fishes and Shoots a Rifle No Problem!! He Is A Brave Young Man that Got Dealt a “BAD Hand” Very Early In Life……..Farm Accident.
Thank YOU For The More Than Generous Offer!!!:D -
Please put my name in for this drawing. Thank you so much.

Please stick my name in the hat too!!!!

Hello – brand new to traditional archery/hunting. I have an old green fiberglass bow from the 1950s with a big rubber grip that I semi-inherited from an uncle last year. Add my name to the draw as a decent bow would, from everything I am reading, would make a big difference!

Pay It Forward is truly about giving back, this was my families way of making a positive difference in this world and I want to thank all of you for allowing me to do this here on Tradbow.
Again thank you, Meegwetch !
We’ll be posting the winner in a bit, wishing all of you a very nice evening. We’ve put all of the names in a hat and we will be doing an elimination draw, meaning the last name left in the hat wins.

Thank you Both it will be well used

Oh my, what a generous thing to do. I wish that you’d include my son Ben’s name. Ben is a great 13 year old kid but he’s never had any real interest in hunting. He and a few buddies just spent 4 days camping at Denton Hill and he had the best time ever using a friend’s borrowed 42 pound Northwind bow. For once I really think he may be gaining interest in a sport that I truly love and I’d love for him to have something better than the “beater” that I gave him for now.
I’m new to the forum (though I’ve been reading Traditional Bowhunter forever) and really can’t believe the generosity of such an offer.
Whoops, never mind, I see there’s already a winner. Still a great thing. Way to go and congrats to the winner.

Well, folks, I finally sent the bow out last week, through Canada Post and submitted the parcel tracking number to Bear for his review. I ended up leaving town on training and then had to divert to British Columbia for work.
I do want to apologize to Bear for sending the bow so late but I was unable to so until last week.
Good thing is the bow is now on its way to Bear and I want to thank everyone that participated in this draw.
