T — these pics give me late-winter heartburn: so close in miles, yet so far away in time (until fall). If anyone can view photos such as these — the people as well as the wild places they are enjoying — and still wonder why you and I and a growing number of others proclaim fiercely that “The only future for true traditional hunting is wild, unspoiled, silent and unroaded public lands,” well they didn’t apparently evolve in this one real world. Only thing missing here is a pic of your lovely wife. Thanks for posting. ol’ dave

Great images! Makes me want to see Colorado for myself, and maybe chase a Turkey or two.
And what specie of Grouse is that? Its freaking huge! -
Thanks for sharing. Your kids are soooo fortunate, you have a wonderful family and I’m sure many great adventures ahead.
The habitat in the WA pic looks a bit different than CO.

T,
Thanks for sharing those great pics. Cabin fever is starting to set in a bit and the high country is calling me. Can’t wait til it greens up a bit and we can get back up in there. Those pics stir some great memories. You have a great family and getting those boys out in wild country is priceless. -
T you have an awesome backyard and a great family. I’ll probably never see the tops of those mountains now so thanks for letting me live awhile, if only vicariously, through you! Your family is very lucky to have you taking them out in that country. 😀

T – Thanks for sharing the picks of your family and of BEAUtiful Colorado. I grew up in Colorado and Wyoming and man I sure do miss it, but the Army keeps me away.
I just got into trad in the last couple of years, and love it. Hopefully someday I will be able to post some picks of my fam on some scouts and hunts.
