        I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a productive year for apples and berries. The wild apples are bent over they’re so loaded. Acorn crop, at least where I’ve been looks like a good one too. How about where you are?

          I’ve seen some amazing loads on some old apple trees around here in the Poconos. We were hit pretty hard with Gypsy Moth so I’m waiting to see what the acorn drop will be. Perhaps since I haven’t see a lot yet, that’s the answer. dwc

            I’m sliding around on lots of acorns in the woods, dangerous out there, for an old cuss.

            Apple orchard owners have big grins on their faces.. Audrey says her brother’s apple tree has too many apples for him. Thus there is a bag full in her trunk…

              Looks great in Southwest Virginia where we do some backpack hunting. Lots of Thornapple, apples, and acorns. Hopefully it’ll be a great season!
