Snake Skins on Bow Question

I previously backed my samick with copperhead skins and didn’t do that great of a job but nothing ever happened to them until UPS destroyed em.

My new widow has skins on it, done at the widow factory, and I’m wondering if there is anything I ever need to do to preserve them, keep up the varnish, etc?

I’m pretty sure there’s nothing to do, but couldn’t help but wonder.

If they are under the finish, then, as you surmised, there is nothing to do. If they are over the finish, then you may want to oil them from time to time. My guess is they are under the finish.

A quick email to black widow would answer this question definitively.
