We had a cook out recently and while sitting by the pool one of my wife’s co-workers asked her if I was OK. My wife replied what do you mean? Her friend said “well I know that David shaves his head, but I can’t help but notice all the bare patches on his arms and legs where the hair seems to be falling out and I was just concerned”.
Brenda laughed and told her that hunting season was drawing near and that I had been sharpening broadheads and sharpened until they would shave hair so shaving a spot was the final test.
I guess with the dark hair color it is rather conspicous.

Wow, it’s a small world…my wife and I were headed out the other night and she asked if I would mind putting jeans on instead of the shorts I was wearing……

Yesterday my girlfriend asked me to check my broadheads on my eyebrow…

While driving, a student driver veered right into my lane and instead of being mad at the driver I thought “Darn it! Is that weak or stiff?”

After drinking a soda my boy was running around the house on a sugar high and it reminded me of how my first unfletched 31 inch arrow flew!

            I’ve got it bad…

I guess that answers the question of why I’ve been getting that urge to go outside and rub my head on trees.

              I’ve also noticed I’m gruntting more…

My wife says grunts don’t smell that way.:lol:

I agree Troy, the other day we had a shift from the usual 95+ degrees and high humidity, it was actually cool and dry and when I walked outside. With the coolness and the way the air smelled it made a chill run up my spine letting me know that the time was coming near. Unfortunately ever since then it has been hot as Hell as usual and I’m wringing wet with sweat as I shoot each evening.

Been cheating the heat on my shooting lately. I get up early and do it while the morning cool is still on.
