I have to say I was thrilled to see a new video by Clay. I enjoy good shooting tip videos and his new one is really good.

Then to top it off, I found a notice in my email that Arne of Mowbow fame has just posted a new shooting video.

Is this Christmas morning? Thanks, guys, for your never ending efforts to help make sense of things for us.

        All the best, DWC

Thanks for that link–Mowbow is always a fountain of knowledge. What I don’t know sometimes astounds me.

But guaranteed that this forum will provide insight.

Thanks for the tip. It reinforces something I saw today with my own shooting. I was checking actual draw length with three bows by recording video of marked arrows at the riser as they were shot. Holding the bow hand steady is essential for a good shot, and it sure is embarrassing (and useful) to see close-ups of it moving long before it should.

Interesting to see that his bow arm/shoulder pushes forward slightly as he begins to draw but that he says not to extend the bow arm at full draw.

Niether does his string arm elbow appear to be pushed back, is this just his style or is the bow very low draw weight.

              Mark.
