I have a long bow that is 64″ N to N 55# @ 26″ my normal D L is 28+ with each of my other bows recurves and other LB.
The furtherest that I can draw the 64″ LB is 26.5 or 27″. Then it feels as though I hit a wall and can draw back no further. If this is “stacking” it is my first experience with it.

Yes, it sounds like stacking to me. The bowyer PROBABLY assured the draw to 26″ based on the original order. Drawing 2″ past the rated draw length/weight has likely put you into “uncharted” territory. Check out the other thread that is similar to this for an explanation of stacking.

Hey Arne, isn’t futherest just using a bit more effort to get it a bit futher back than the farthest you can do? 😀 Like gettin’ the mostest outta somethin’? 😆
I agree with you. Some bows are built to be bent so far and farther drawn can be stressing the bow.

Arne, my Texas English…………..nuff said? I love to play with words. 😀 Ralph.
I have a 30# bow @ 25″ made for my wife and it feels like I best not draw it back to 28″. Like you said, uncharted territory. I have another made for her by another bowyer 35# @ 25″ that shoots a sweet 42# @ 28″. Depends on how they’re made.
