on monday i was hiking up to a little clover field i have and since we have no snow here i spotted this baby from 150 yards! just one of the big boys i have been after this year. it was laying smack dab in the middle of the clover!

What a beauty! The thick, dark, heavily pearlated lower main beam is particularly gorgeous. I hope you find the matching drop — once one goes they often make a point of getting rid of the other, as it feels odd, unbalanced. I once found both sides of a nice 6×5 elk rack, each one just a few feet on either side of a game trail. But here in CO we have months yet to go for deer or elk drops.

it is a good one indeed. this is the earliest i have ever found a shed, all though last year they started showing up around 1/15. This on is unique in that the G2 is almost as if the main beam forked rather than the tine growing off the beam

            it scores 60 inches

That kicker helps make it look forked instead of grown out from the main. Thats still a nice trophy even if its not connected. Good luck finding the other side
