        I saw this Korean get up at the Wright-Patt Air Force Museum a couple of weeks ago. Seems there are a lot of folks here that like making their own gear, maybe this would be worth a go. Doesn’t look comfortable though.

        It may at least be worth having in your head for an emergency in the middle of nowhere.

          One could back up to a round bail, hook up and take off! 😀

              You might want to look up the Roycroft three stick packframe. Super simple and works great!
