        I had to make some proper shooting sticks for my Schulz.

        These are kind of a cross between a photo in the back of Straight Shooting by Schulz and some of Howard’s personal arrows I have pics of.

        They are 10 inch nock tapered Douglas Fir with 6 1/2 parabolics and mercury speed nocks.

          I like ’em! I don’t think I’ve seen Mercury Speed nocks with indexers before.

            Did you say 6 1/2 in feathers? Did you cut them yourself?

              Yes, the newer mercury speed nocks have indexers. I got them off the big auction site. I do not like a huge indexer and they interfere with my fletching jig indexer so I file them down a bit though.

              Yes, I chop my own and they are 6 1/2 and slighly high back also. Lots of feather but still quiet with the parabolic.
