I am requesting your input. My Martin Hunter needs to be refinished after this year’s elk hunt. I have had Martin do it before, but the finish was quite shiney and chipped in several places. Can you please refer me to someone who can refinish my bow with a durable flat finish? bobtieken. e-mail bobtieken@yahoo.com

Hey Bob, nice to see you here. 😀 You might want to check out Prairie Traditions by Joe Lasch. I believe he does refinishing and bow repair. There may be others too.

I have own a Martin Hunter for 22 years now, this is what I do: 00 and 000 steel wood all over the bow and then I finished with Minwax polyurethane satin spray. Looks great and it is very durable, it gives the bow a custom look.:D
