Hello all. First I’d like to thank everyone here for all the useful info I’ve found on this site and in the magazine. This is my first post and I’m relatively new to traditional archery. My wife bought me a Hoyt Dorado for our anniversary last year and that has served as my reintroduction to traditional. Until then, the last recurve I shot was my Little Bear (which I still have and am in the process of introducing to my little girl) when I was 5. Since then I have shot compounds 24 years. Getting used to traditional has been a challenge to say the least, but it has kinda gotten in my blood, even though I’m nowhere near confident enough in my limited skills to try to draw any blood from a deer with one. Anyways…onto my question…I acquired a couple bows in a trade a month or so ago. One is a Ben Pearson Razorback recurve 711-62″, 45# @28″ 11-2902. Its been used alot and shows the wear but its still fun to shoot. The other says Razorback Longbow Deer Slayer, 55# @28″. It is in extremely good shape but could stand to have another string. I cannot find any info about it online. Can anybody tell me anything about it- date of mfg? possible value? who made it (I assume Ben Pearson being as it says razorback but thats just my assumption)? Thanks alot and sorry for the long post.
