I have a real fondness for quivers that are open on the side. The other day I saw one and I beleive the owner said it was made by a guy named Katz (katss?) from W VA. I can not find anything like this on Google. Does anyone have any information they can share relative to locating this quiver maker or similar makers that produce these type of quivers?

No actually. I am looking for a leather constructed quiver that is positioned on the side of the archer and low on the hip. Arrows are withdrawn from a lose arrangement of them and from the side of the quiver. Thanks for the suggestion but my quest continues!

Hi Dan. This is the one I have and in all honesty, and now that I have seen it in person, can be made from a a single sheet of leather and by someone without much tallent. The one I saw actually came up over the fletching and the strap had a buckle in it and there was a quantity of leather lacing that looked real professional. Much better quality than mine and when I spoke with the owner I thought I heard him say it was made by this fellow Katz (SP?) from W VA. The quiver he was toting was of much better quality than mine and that hood covering the fletching was perfect. I am actually thinking of ordering some leather and make a modification myself or try a DIY. But tools and time are an issue.

Dave I think I saw the general site 2 or 3 times in my search but I never drilled down enough to hit the right spot. Thanks again to Ed.

Safari Tuff makes two open side quivers called the Arrowmaster and the Duiker. I own the Arrowmaster and really like it. I am going to purchase the smaller Duiker here soon…
