This is my son. He’s 4yrs old and I bought him a little Bear Brave for his birthday this year.

We’ve been practicing a bit with it and he’s always shot with me by his side.

Well.. This past weekend, I noticed he wasn’t in the house, and asked my wife if she knew where he was at?? We’re not exactly “hover parents”..:D

She said he heard him walk out the back door. I peered out the window and this is what I saw!!

He didn’t ask me to shoot, he just grabbed his bow and went out to shoot by himself! Honestly, didn’t even think he was capable of it!

I didn’t let him know I was observing and watched him.

The little guy really surprised me. He shot 6 times and hit the target 4 of those times.

He packed his gear up after that and walked inside. He told me all about his practice session proudly!

Here’s a pic I snapped of him through the blinds.

Congrats on getting him started young and hope he has a lot of fun in the future with his dad.

Awesome Tommy! Give him another year or two. Tailfeather can’t even usually find his kid cuz he’s halfway up a tree somewhere chasing songbirds with his hickory stickbow.

I think that’s why Joe quit feeding all the birds at his place.:D
