The problem, a wart on my middle finger. After about five shots the wart is causing enough pain that it’s not even enjoyable to shoot. Any ideas on how to get rid of the wart. Have heard you can cut it out, but must get the roots so it doesn’t come back.
Any thoughts on killing this awful little pest?

Pharmacy should have an over the counter kit with liquid nitrogen applicator and mild acid applicator. Took several planters warts off my youngest’s foot in about 1 week of applications. It costs about $15.00 but works.

I’m not doc, but you should see a dermatologist on this one. If you want to recover your finger, have it done right. The cost will be worth it. dwc

Agree with going to dermatologist. Some insurance carriers cover wart removal as mine does. Even without insurance coverage it is not that expensive.

My dad’s insurance for me as a kid paid for a wart removal every 6 months. I had the same wart frozen w/ nitrogen 4 times over 2 years and it always came back. Finally, I said “Screw this” and asked for it to be burned off. Didn’t come back.
Doc is the best way, cause it gets sent out to be sure it wasn’t malignant, but it’s not fool proof!

Well, guys got rid of it with some Apple Cider Vinegar w/mother and my wife cutting it out. Thanks for the tips. I live on the support of church members as I am a missionary, so funds are super tight right now, as we are growing our support base. Otherwise I would have went to the doctor as I have with other warts.

Tip o the hat to your service to your beliefs!
I hope you continue to build your mission base and do well. Prayers for that to happen.
I will share, light-heartedly of course, that I heard an old PA German superstition about warts—that if you cut a new potato in half, rubbed half on the wart, backed down the outside steps backwards and then buried the half of the tater you rubbed on the wart under a old oak stump on a full moon, the wart would fall off!:roll:
Warts sometimes come off easily but if you don’t get the “root” it comes back. Others are more superficial or on the surface, and aren’t as persistent.
I wish you luck with your removal process and your mission!
Keep the Son in your eyes!
